The Nature of a Door is to be Opened (TNDO) is a social art piece with a resulting installation that uses the favorite memories of small children to thread the City Heights neighborhood of San Diego together with, older students, the children's families, local artists, nonprofits, and educational institutions. The resulting interactive installation consists of fifty cabinets housing audio recordings of children's memories and complementary artworks made by older children in response to the memories.
This piece is currently on tour throughout San Diego. For more information click here.
