Bring your class, child, or school on a journey to a professional theatre or special location to experience one of the following Young Audiences programs in collaboration with: San Diego Ballet, Culture Shock Dance, Asian Story Theater, Fern Street Circus, and the San Diego State Orchestra.

Fern Street Circus
“HOPE”

San Diego's own theatrical circus features original music, colorfully costumed aerialists, acrobats and clowns.

Blum, the clown, has returned from 20 years of travel.  He brings with him a Pandora’s Box of wonders he collected from around the world on his tour.  The box is mischievously opened by another curious clown and all the wonders spill out into the circus world.  Last to come out is HOPE. 

Clowns, jugglers, acrobats, aerialists and wire walkers are all touched and inspired as HOPE travels through the circus world showing us that we all need a little hope in our lives.

Grades: K - 12

Individual tickets are also available for home school students and families

Ticket price:
$6.00 per student

These school-day performances by Fern Street Circus are appropriate for grades K-12. Performances connect with language art standards. Teacher guides will be provided.
