YASD Field Trip Programs

Bring your class, child, or school on a journey to a professional theatre or special location to experience programs we collaborate with: San Diego Ballet, Asian Story Theater and the San Diego State Orchestra, UCSD Stuart Collection, Culture Shock San Diego, and The Lindley Lopez Circus.

  • All shows connect with standards based curriculum
  • Tickets are $6.00 each
  • Study guides are provided
  • Transportation and ticket subsidy available
  • Most field trips begin at 9:30 am and 11:30 am
  • Tickets are also available for home school students and families

Year of the Dragon

Around the world, the Dragon is a Superstar of legend and mythology. Incorporating music and puppetry, Asian Story Theater's Year of the Dragon is a playful exploration of Dragon powers and traditions, for the differences as well as the common ground we all share. Grades: K-6

Is your class reading Romeo and Juliet this year? Foster a memorable experience with San Diego Ballet's production of Shakespeare's classic tale of doomed love—lovely and lyrical, compelling and heartbreaking. Grades 9-12.
