Young Audiences of San Diego serves the San Diego community by providing arts education programs to local schools, advocating in the community at local art fairs, providing a free professional development series for classroom teachers and arts educators, and by leading the Arts Education Roundtable for local arts education organizations.

Professional Development Series: YASD's Teaching Artists provide free, monthly professional development programs. Past classes have included: Teaching Dances from Ghana, The History of Puppetry, Introduction to teaching Visual Art and more.

Arts Education Roundtable: YASD's Education Director, Jennifer Oliver, in partnership with the San Diego Performing Arts League created this roundtable as an open forum where organizations can investigate and address concerns of their organization and the state of arts education in San Diego Schools. The Roundtable also provides an excellent opportunity for people to network and collaborate on projects to promote arts education.
